Please be aware that the following symptoms require an urgent appointment and therefore may not be appropriate for Sirona Health:

new onset abdominal or pelvic pain

a positive pregnancy test with abdominal or pelvic pain

a positive pregnancy test with vaginal bleeding

vomiting in pregnancy with vomiting more than 2 times in the last 24 hours, or signs of dehydration with concentrated urine or reduced urine output

aged 55 and over with post‑menopausal bleeding (unexplained vaginal bleeding more than 12 months after menstruation has stopped because of the menopause)

unexplained vulval lump, ulceration or bleeding

unexplained palpable mass in or at the entrance to the vagina

a painful breast and/or with fever and/or general malaise and/or a tender, red, swollen, and hard area of the breast

aged 30 and over and have an unexplained breast lump with or without pain

aged 50 and over with any of the following symptoms in one nipple only:

discharge

retraction

unexplained weight loss, fatigue or changes in bowel habit

aged 50 or over who has experienced symptoms within the last 12 months that suggest irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), because IBS rarely presents for the first time in women of this age.

aged 45 and over and have:

unexplained visible haematuria without urinary tract infection or

visible haematuria that persists or recurs after successful treatment of urinary tract infection

aged 50 and over with any of the following symptoms on a persistent or frequent basis – particularly more than 12 times per month:

persistent abdominal distension (women often refer to this as 'bloating')

feeling full (early satiety) and/or loss of appetite

pelvic or abdominal pain

increased urinary urgency and/or frequency.
